Program Requirements:

• Demonstrate a readiness to launch a business in Canada upon arrival.
• Be able to demonstrate world-class achievement in their field of study, in a related artistic or athletic discipline, or in managing a farm.
• Experience of at least two years is required.
• Must provide proof of proficiency in either French or English.
• In addition to the aforementioned, all sponsored individuals and the person themselves must be able to pass the necessary medical and security checks.

Program Benefits

Once you’ve become a P.R., you’ll have the same rights as a Canadian citizen, minus the ability to vote and serve in the armed forces. In addition to the advantages available to all Canadians and P.R.’s, you will be eligible for these as well. In addition, if you are a PR and have lived in Canada for three of the past four years, you are eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship.

Federal Start-Up Visa Program
Numerous people who move to Canada do so for economic reasons. Program Requirements
·       Provide evidence that the company has the backing of a recognized group.

·       Prove that the necessary qualifications are held by the proprietors of the company.

·       In other words, you need to be able to communicate in the required language.

·       Make sure you have enough money prepared aside for the move to Canada before you make the trip.

Although the federal government is responsible for immigration to Canada (with some exclusions relating to Quebec), provinces are given the authority to run their own provincial nominee programs in which they can “nominate” individuals who would like to have moved to their province permanently. Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) is the official name for these types of initiatives. Although similar to the Federal Investor Program and the Quebec Investor Program, the PNP Investor stream is distinct in a number of important respects, including the specifics of how the programs operate and the minimum levels of capital and net worth.

The funds are invested in the province, providing a source of finance for infrastructure and other development projects. Although there is one more bureaucratic hoop to jump through when applying for immigration through the PNP, there is a chance of a higher approval rate for certain types of visas.
